LOSD 2021: Bond Community Update Event

4700 Jean Road, LOLOSD 2021 is the district’s targeted campaign to inform the community about the progress of our Bond projects. Our third community meeting will be Saturday, September 15, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Lakeridge Junior High School. Bond staff will update the community about the projects that were completed this summer. Updates on project timelines, swing site movements, program changes, and site-specific work will be delivered. Members of the Bond Accountability Committee, the Long Range Facility Planning Committee, and the School Board will be on hand.
Upon request, the agenda and backup materials can be made available in other languages. Any person who requires interpreting services to participate in the meeting may request these services by contacting the Communications Department either in person, by phone or through email at info@loswego.k12.or.us. In addition, childcare will be provided.
Community members can find more information about the community meeting, as well as the school bond at losdschools.org/bond.
You can monitor the progress of the bond staff here. You can also review the guiding principles that were adopted by the last Long Range Facility Planning committee.Childcare will be provided in the library.
Social Studies Curriculum – Input Needed
The Social Studies Curriculum Committee would like your input regarding the upcoming 9 – 12 social studies curriculum adoption. Your information will be used to help analyze the current curriulum and to assist the Social Studies Curriculum Committee in their decision making processes this year. The survey will be open until September 26.

Back to School Nights
Each of our schools holds a very important meeting at the beginning of the school year tailored specifically to answer questions from parents. New families, as well as returning families, are welcome at Back to School Nights. Adults are encouraged to bring your questions, but not your children, as childcare will not be provided.
Lakeridge JH: September 20, 6:30 p.m. (This is the correct time)
Lake Oswego HS: October 3, 6:30 p.m.

Lake Oswego Pre-K classes are still open for enrollment. Our teachers are ready to embark on this educational journey with your child in a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. The program offers students meaningful experiences as they begin their educational journey while promoting a lifelong love for learning.

Extended Day Locations and Registration
Extended day will be offered at the following sites:
Southside: Palisades
Northside: Lake Grove ElementaryPlease register for extended daycare. The extended day registration forms are found here
Dogs on School Property
Dogs are welcome on school property if they are on a leash at all times, or if they are inside a parked car on school grounds.
This school board policy dovetails with the City of Lake Oswego's policy to have dogs on a leash at all times except at the three dog parks.
We ask for your cooperation, especially during school hours.

Parent representatives from each school are appointed by the School Board to serve three-year terms on this committee.

Registration for the 2018/2019 Elementary Strings Classes is now OPEN! Learn to play Violin, Viola, Cello, or Bass with friends in a fun and exciting environment!
